A beacon broadcasting cobblers
The BEACON is a project by two artists Jon Thomson and Alison Craighead that “continuously relays live web searches as they are being made around the world.” Apparently it “could be seen as a silent witness or a useless clock that provides a global snapshot of ourselves to ourselves in real-time.” It could also be seen as a gimmick that only manages to attract about 30 seconds of the average web user’s time. You can also see the beacon at the NFT until the 12th August.
