Genocide seen from a great height

As I’m raising money for Darfur, someone pointed out to me that the US Holocaust Museum has teamed up with Google Earth to produce a plugin that allows you “to visualize and better understand the genocide currently unfolding in Darfur, Sudan.” The Crisis in Darfur layers for Google Earth use photographs and eyewitness testimony to animate the burning villages, tent cities and general displacement of populations.
