Getting the gist of it
Gosh, there is just so much stuff out there. The web is overwhelming. Luckily, GistWeb aims to “provide a ’summary’ version of any page, giving you the meat and discarding the fluff. This saves loads of time when doing research online.” In other words, you’re give the gist of the subject.
You can either drag the GistWeb link into your bookmarks folder and then click the bookmark on a page you want to have summarised, or you can go straight to their search page. When I first looked at the the ‘recent summaries’ on the search page, half of them seemed to be for ‘arse’ related topics, so I suppose it’s a toy as well.
