Way to go
On Friday D&AD were scheduled to get back to Team Gaucho if we had got on the course. By lunchtime we had heard nothing, and then after a slightly despondent afternoon with no news we had assume that we had not been selected. We had been told that unsuccessful applicants would not be told of their bad luck.
As I was moving over the weekend – lots of hard lugging and hefting – I didn’t really give the matter much more thought. Sitting back down at my desk after lunch on Monday I noticed my Yahoo Instant Messenger was flashing orange, indicating a message. It was from the other half of Team Gaucho – have you checked your email. I did so and found that D&AD had been delayed in coming to a descision and we had indeed been accepted on the course.
So now we have seven weeks of evening classes to present our ideas in different advertising agencies which will be scrutinized by a hardcore advertising dude. Wehey. This also means we have to write a campaign a week for the next seven weeks. Phew.

Congrats, I hope you enjoy.
Me and partner didn’t get on so we’re going to try again in Jan – if we’re still together by then.
